Ramadan Traditions in Makkah: Yaghmush

Yughmush are little meat pies which came with the influx of Bukhari people to Makkah. The savory snack is originally from Afghanistan. They are often eaten in Makkah for Iftar or sahoor during Ramadan. Yaghmush are frequently sold in shops along with mantu, but you can try to make them yourself. The recipe is found below.
